The Opening of Our Scunthorpe Shop
We are excited to announce that we at Hull Fibre have opened a new shop in Scunthorpe! This allows us to bring our top-quality fibre broadband services closer to the local community. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your internet or explore our latest offers, our team is ready to assist you.

The Big Malarkey Festival
We are proud to have sponsored the Hull Fibre Makerspace Tent at The Big Malarkey Festival. This annual event celebrates creativity and community for families across Hull and surrounding areas. Our partnership helped provide a space where children could engage in hands-on activities, explore new technologies, and unleash their imaginations. Supporting local events like this aligns with our commitment to fostering innovation and connecting people through shared experiences.
Cash for Kids
At Hull Fibre, giving back to our community is a core value. We recently donated £500 to Cash for Kids, aiming to make a positive impact in the lives of children in need. Our team attended the Big Breakfast Meeting, where we were inspired by the collective efforts of like-minded individuals and businesses coming together to support a common cause. It’s moments like these that remind us of the power of unity and generosity in making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby
The Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby is an annual thrilling event that brought together creativity, engineering, and community spirit. This year, we proudly sponsored two of their categories (Overall Winner and Fastest Adult Team), to which we presented their trophies at the awards ceremony. We also set up our stand at the event, where we enjoyed meeting lots of people, while sharing the fun of the Soapbox Derby.
Continuation to Sponsor Humber Wave Radio
We are proud to continue our sponsorship to our local radio station, West Hull FM. Thanks to our support, the station has now transitioned to DAB, significantly expanding its reach to a broader audience. Due to this amazing growth, they are now called Humber Wave Radio! The advancement allows them to connect with more listeners, strengthening our community’s voice.
Brough Archaeological Dig
In May, we were delighted to assist archaeologists from Petuaria ReVisited by clearing a site for an important excavation happening in Brough in July. This effort will enable the team to dig for Roman pottery, contributing to the preservation and understanding of our rich local heritage.
The Hull Business Expo 2024
We were thrilled to be one of the headline sponsors of the Hull Business Expo 2024. The event was hosted by The Business Culture, and took place in Princes Quay. It provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow businesses and community members. We had a great time meeting everyone, exchanging ideas, and showcasing our commitment to supporting the local business landscape.
Continuation to Support HU4 Community Trust
At Hull Fibre, we are committed to supporting HU4 Community Trust and its vital initiatives to help those in need. During Easter, we proudly contributed by giving Easter eggs to their community for their festive celebrations. Our ongoing partnership reflects our dedication to bringing joy to the community, ensuring they feel supported and valued throughout the year.
St Stephens
We have continued to have our stand at St Stephens Shopping Centre. It’s been a wonderful experience meeting so many of you, and we’re grateful for the sign ups and interest to join our broadband service. We look forward to connecting with even more members of the community.
